For my sins at the GFA Annual Business Meeting which took place in Melbourne
over the weekend just past, I was appointed to the resurrected position of GFA
IT Committee Convenor. I'd been effectively functioning in that role for a few
months now on a casual vacancy basis with the primary task at present being to
conduct an IT Audit.

One of the issues that prompted me to stick my hand up for the role was the
usability problems I've experienced myself trying to make use of the site.

I've noted over the years on this forum, varying degrees of concern and
complaint about the utility and browser compliance problems of the site but
what I'd be pleased if those of you so inclined could assist me with is some on
or off-line feedback as to whether the problems being experienced presently are
worse than they have been previously or whether this current spate of access
difficulties is normal.

I'd also appreciate any feed-back I can get about what works and doesn't work
about the site.

Insofar as I've managed to glean this far, fixing some of the major ones I'm
already well aware exist, like the quality of the search experience on the
site, look like being significantly non-trivial exercises to correct.

I look forward to receipt of your comments.

Ciao
