Hi all,

Do you know any flyers with colour vision defects?? If so please forward
this email to them

Dr. Arthur Pape is back and is going into battle to challenge the remains
of the aviation colour perception standard after his wins in 1989.
In 1989 he got the regulations reduced to the granting of a free pass to
airline flying as Captain by just naming correctly the 3 lights of the
Tower Light Signal Test
given by the Tower but even that has to go! Its the only time they are used!

So here in Australia we've had Colour Vision Defective pilots in all levels
of aviation including the airlines for over 23 years!
They pass their simulated emergency check-rides as well as CV Normals -
surely the best practical test ever existed.
They fly 747s into Europe where if they wanted to hire a Cessna 172 to fly
at night they would be be turned down for being 'unsafe'.

We have another court case just starting in Australia and we predict it is
going to clear up the last vestiges of the colour standard.
Four very experienced airline first officers who havent passed the tower
light gun test or refuse to take it have asked CASA to remove
their restrictions "not for ATPL use" (reqd by Captain only) and "only for
flight in Australia" on their medical and have taken CASA's refusal
to appeal at the Australian Administrative Appeals Tribunal. This is where
Arthur Pape won in 1989. Arthur is guiding the lawyers this time around too.

We have some hefty legal bills but if we get every CVD pilot or wannabe
just to join up for one year we will have plenty of funds to see this
through in Australia
and have enough to do Europe and the USA.

Please take a look at the new website: http://www.cvdpa.com

I have worked very closely with Arthur Pape on this for the last 3months.

I am colour defective and my aspirations to fly for a living were dashed
when I was a kid and it really was for
no reason at all when it comes to flying. See the website to see why
