Aviation Partners and Boeing have been working closely together. I think there may even be financial links. For the Eurocrap Deathbus makers to claim their "sharklets"aren't a copy of the ones on the 737NG seems a stretch to me.

Whether that kind of winglet is patentable is another matter, given the widespread use elsewhere.

I wonder how they ever sold any A320s as they burn about 4 to 5 % more fuel for the same mission.
