Does anyone know how handicaps are determined? It seems to me that as gliding knowledge advances, there is a tendency for thermally time to be reduced. As a consequence I think that the lower performance gliders are at an increasing disadvantage as they have less chance to pass up,weaker thermal and face a larger disadvantage if sink is encountered.
