Tost have introduced a new tyre called *336 x 155-5 TOST AERO 10 ply*designed especially for Discus 2b, 2c, 2T and 2cT and Ventus 2c, 2cT and 2cM and replaces the usual 500 x 5
The tyre has a slightly smaller outer diameter and install width as many or the original 500 x 5 are touching the landing gear box. The tyre is about twice the price of the 400 x 4 8pr (or a std 500 x 5 tyre) so would expect landed selling price of about $240 ie expensive. To get the a better price I must get 5 units so if owners report issues I am prepared to order same. While on TOST the ring pairs are now down to $39.55 ea Ian McPhee.
