Here's why it's important:
ASIC cards are a costly ongoing impediment to sport aviation in Australia. They were introduced as a knee-jerk reaction to 911 and do nothing to improve security at airports. ASIC cards are an ongoing costly annoyance for all sport pilots. Our licences should fulfil this requirement irrespective of which branch of aviation we are affiliated with.
