The NSWGA supported Wave Camp is the Bunyan Wave Camp; this camp attracts pilots from all over the East Coast and as far away as Adelaide. This year’s dates are 21st to 29th September – 9 days opens up a big weather window and the Spring Equinox has been kind to us in recent years, But there are no guarantees. With airspace lower limit of 24500ft Diamond are available on the right day without an airways clearance, higher is available for record attempts if you’re up to it. We get a special airspace clearance from the RAAF and this year we only have airspace up to FL130 so a dimond is not possble.
