If your club isn't claiming Fuel Tax Credit on Mogas, your treasurer should
take a look at this link:

http://www.ato.gov.au/Business/Fuel-schemes/In-detail/Fuel-tax-credits---for
-GST-registered-businesses/Calculating-and-record-keeping/Fuel-tax-credit-ra
tes-and-eligible-fuels/

Work through the 'fuel tax credit eligibility tool' .

There is no FTC on Avgas.

Hi Glenn,

How does one go about claiming the road tax component?

The same way one goes about dobbing yourself in for paying the carbon tax,
I'd expect :-)

Yes, you are meant to pay it on aviation fuel. I wonder if there has ever
been a recorded case of that with mogas in aircraft? :-)
