Just to relate my current experience with this program.
In 2011, I purchased SeeYou for PC to facilitate flight analysis. As I understood at the time, and from the documents related to the purchase, this was a once-only cost. Since then, there have been a number of automatic upgrades. However, after installing version 6.0 which just came as another upgrade, this showed up as an "unregistered version" on the screen. Everything worked well until I was advised that my trial had expired and functionality was now seriously impaired until I paid an "annual subscription". I queried Naviter, and the response was that they do things differently now and an annual subscription is now part of the deal. It currently runs at Eu49 per year which I think is pretty steep. I was given the options of either paying up, or reverting to the last 5.xxx version. I have opted for the moment to revert to the earlier version and have asked for a link as this version has now been over-written by the latest version. This all seems to have happened very quietly.
