Well it depends if your varios are even connected to the statics.
Most varios are simply connected to a TE probe.
Some vario systems have an electronic airspeed measurement system and
these have pitot and static inlets which are connected to those
ports. Some may have the option of pitot - static TE but you will
find that probe TE works better.
So unless you have one of the latter one blocked static port won't
make much difference except to the airspeed measurement for netto,
speed command an TAS outputs for the glide computer.

Hey brains trust,
If I had one blocked static port, the system had T-pieces ensuring
all instruments share both statics am I likely to get bouncy
mechanical and electronic varios in turns due side slips and
blanking or would it have no effect given dual ports,
