That day the whole field came in from the North. Gary and I both flew that day. The day was still very thermic with lanes of sink and lift. Sufficient margin on observation of the weather and potentials at hand, home safe. Insufficient margin, strong potential for not home safe. Risk management is central to all gliding safety is it not?
