Thanks to the wonderful skills of Mr Shirley, the scores on soaring spot now
reflect the state comp rules for lay days. Note that the score allocated for
laydays is continually updated depending on the scores for future days. But day
to day the results will be correctly averaged and penalties applied for laydays.

Another interesting day today with lower height bands and blue skies. Day 2 I
was leaving at 12,000ft and today I left some at 3,500ft.

What’s wrong with the scoring Scott?

In the day by day totals for the 15 metre class,
http://www.soaringspot.com/nsw2014/results/15-meter/day-by-day.html , Matt Gage
and Tom Claffey top the results, despite neither having flown on day 1
according to
http://www.soaringspot.com/nsw2014/results/15-meter/daily/day1.html .

It appears that both have been given 1000 points over and above what they
scored on day 2.

John Orton should be first according to the stats from day 1 & day 2.
