Simon

GPC is a flying qualification so will never reflect any airworthiness skills
you may have. A CASA (or any other national) flight crew licence does not
include any maintenance licences, they are a totally different kind of
qualification, just the same as your driver's licence does not reflect any
degree or other professional skill that your State government might issue.

The fact you have airworthiness qualifications and a L2 IO nevertheless
indicates you are accepted as a responsible member of our community, capable of
making your own decisions as to the fitness for flight of both yourself and the
machine you choose to fly. Congratulations and welcome to the clan!
