The person in CASA who signed off on all this simply needs the sack.

They (CASA) will come back we have to be ICAO compliant. Well can assure
you there are big variations with countries even just over the ditch.

A friend has been going through all this Glider pilots licence to do the
right thing. He has to do the English test for $110 for 10min. The fact
that he had an ATPL flying as Captain of a B 747-400 in and out of Sydney
every 2 weeks until recently counted for nothing. Can you believe!

Somebody needs to put a b-o-m-b under the iron ring at CASA below
Mark Skidmore. CASA iron ring totally ignore politicians as they know
nothing about Aviation & besides they are gone in 3 to 6 years. They (the
CASA iron ring) may do one or two requests from the CASA board in their
time. CASA know best re aviation and nobody else really know.

Another friend got his glider pilots licence from BGA and was relatively
easy & he is also B747 pilot!!

A sad reflection on our aviation administrators at the Australian CASA.
