I got this from a friend in USA overnight. It seems with Clear Nav you need to check web site for upgrades regularly.

Jim Not too sure we have many issues with terain at above 8000ft in Australia!!! The version 3 vario is certainly an improvement. Jim reports the CN2 MFD is brighter and uses less power than original instrument (the terain was too dark colours). I look forward to the return of my display as CN2.
