FWIW If I were to create a blog, I'd run it from a tumblr.com account, and then just link it from my normal website. May as well minimise the attack area on your website by not installing anything, given that almost every single blog system there is is released with various exploits each time an update comes out. Tubmlr is really configurable, so it's perfect, + other people can follow it (if they are so inclined). I don't know if what the world needs is more blogs though.
