Good afternoon all, As you can tell by the recent list traffic, we have an abundance of pre-conference drinks events with both Vocus and Superloop kindly offering to host events for attendees of AusNOG 2017. Superloop was unaware that Vocus, the Platinum Sponsor of AusNOG 2017, was planning a kick-off event so they organised one of their own. But, its clearly not ideal to have multiple events running at the same time.
After having a chat about this today, Superloop as offered to postpone their whiskey night to a date later in the year. Rather than having 2 events at the same time we now get to enjoy 2 great industry nights. Scheduling for the Superloop event hasn’t been set yet but we expect it to be in October or early November. Details will be sent to the mailing list closer to the time. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank both Vocus and Superloop for their ongoing support of the industry, and Superloop for agreeing to reschedule their event.
