Hi All, There is an alleged "Australian Taxation Office" call centre using the DID "02 8006 2433", claiming that your Tax File Number will be suspended and an arrest warrant has been issued if you don't contact them. This number is also receiving inbound calls, although you may need to call two or three times.
The number was allocated to Symbio Networks by ACMA, however their support staff aren't very helpful, referring the matter back to the carrier of the person receiving the call. If anyone from Symbio's support team is on-list, could they please contact me or take appropriate action? In the meantime, if you want to have some fun on a Friday and jam their lines preventing them from scamming others, by all means... Regards, CH.
