I made a mistake in the previous email. Georabble is on Tuesday night!
It's geoweek, And we have at least two exciting events to go to! We have
Georabble on Tuesday night at the Pig N Whistle (register here

), and our OpenStreetMap Geoweek Mapathon on Saturday evening at Toowong

I'd love to see you at both of these events, and I've left more details below
about the Mapathon to entice you there, if you haven't already registered. It's
looking like it'll be a bit quieter than last month, but it will still be a
great time, with free pizza!

Quickly following on from the success of our First Ever Missing Maps Mapathon,
we will be hosting a new Mapathon for OpenStreetMap Geoweek, at Toowong Library
from 17:30 - 20:30 on Saturday the 18th of October.

20:30: Pack up and drinks after at Royal Exchange Hotel
** What is it?

OSM Geoweek

is trying to organise Mapathons across the world to help raise awareness of
OpenStreetMap and Missing Maps, and the effect these projects can have on local
communities across the world.
The aim of the Missing Maps Project

is to map the most crisis-prone parts of the developing world. With your help
we can directly improve the lives of some of the planet’s most vulnerable
people. Both beginners and experienced mappers are welcome to join this
mapathon, please choose your ticket according to your level of mapping skills.

Just a laptop (please bring your own with you), a mouse and enthusiasm (mouse
