Hello Jean,

So please pick at least one of the chapters, retract it (so others won't take the same one), and review it. If enough people do that, we can get them all done quickly. Please concentrate on the chapters from 10 on, as some of the earlier ones have been checked by many people already. All chapters are on the Review List except one that MZ has checked out.
Re chapter 15 on forms. I was thinking to write a couple of macros and store the data in a small database, so users can see that it does not take too much effort and you could instead do something cool. The problems are:
1) not sure I will be able to complete it in one week
2) maybe this example would be more appropriate for a tutorial/how-to.

Another minor comment on the use of styles in master documents (Chapter 13).

The current text states:
"Styles that are used in subdocuments, such as paragraph styles, are automatically imported into the master document after you save the master document. When you modify the style in the master document, the style in the subdocument remains unaffected. That is, the style in the master document takes precedence over the style in the subdocument."

It should instead say that:
1) *custom* styles used in sub-documents are automatically imported into the master documents. 2) if more than one sub-document uses a custom style with the same name (e.g. myBodyText) then only the one in the first sub-document is imported in the master document; 3) if a style with the same name exists in the master document and in the sub-documents (e.g. Default) then the style is applied as defined in the master document. It should be noted that the styles in the subdocuments are only changed *in* the master document, so when the sub-document is opened for editing the original styles are still unaffected.

In other words, styles applied are applied in the master document in the following order:
1) styles defined in the master document (Text section)
2) styles defined in sub-document 1 except those defined in previous step
3) styles defined in sub-document 2 except those defined in the previous steps
and so on...

[this is probably too much information :-) ] Note also that for those styles in a sub-document that have been created based on a parent style, when the sub-document is imported in the master the new parent style settings (if such parent style exists in the master document) are applied.

Shall I retract the chapter to make these changes?

Cheers,

Michele
