Hi everyone. I've been a user of OOo for a few years now. Where I live now (the middle of nowhere!) my ten years experience as a TEFL teacher is of no use so I've just completed a course in proofreading and I am presently doing another in copyediting. Can I be of any help to you? I'd love the practical experience! Sharon Whiston
Welcome, Sharon! Yes, indeed, you can help. I have now given you the author role, so you can see the Review List, download draft files, and upload edited files.
May I suggest copyediting some of the Draw Guide files, which you'll find on the Review List. Filenames start with DG3. Please read our style guide and writing guide; although they are not detailed, they will introduce you to our style and preferences. Links to these documents are on the first page of the English section of the website.
Or, if you'd like more of a challenge, copyedit some of the Calc Guide (CG3) chapters, which are also on the Review List.
And don't be shy about asking questions. Everyone has questions, especially when getting started.
