Whereas in general I limited myself to updating screenshots and
removing some text which was incorrect, I think the part that would
mostly benefit from some simplifications/streamlining would be chapter
8 or chapter 9 where I created a completely new section on how to add
and manage comments.

Claire, you might cross-check the section on comments in the Draw
Guide and Impress Guide. If they work the same in the two components,
creating one section that works for both books could help with
maintenance.
I've been trying to do this for as many of the common or similar
functions as practical, with a view to (sometime in the future)
setting up the docs so we need to maintain only one file that is
included in more than one book. Unfortunately, that serves to confuse
a lot of people doing maintenance, but one can hope...
