You are quite correct, it should have stayed in and you are also correct in your comment about corner radius. I looked at your amendments and they seem to address both issues. As an aside I think it would be better if OOo dropped this distinction between shapes and objects, I really cannot see what purpose it now serves (lost in history in the transition from v1 to v2 of OOo).
