This is interesting, and I'm not criticising, just making conversation as
I'm not sure if my approach over the years has been wrong or right after
reading this list.

In the UK there is a tendancy to use "select" instead of choose for menu
options or "Go to <and then the menu & option>".  I've been changing
"choose" and putting in "select" as choose to me means that you have the
choice of more than one option when you go down one particular route.

Maybe it's just the way I've been taught or my cock-eyed way of looking at
things....
