I prefer bottom posting, so that is where my reply will be.

Have started reviewing the Base Intro guide and have some ideas for the text
and am stuck at this point.
What is the best way to colloborate on text changes and ideas in the guide
with you and Zoltan?

I have uploaded chapter 3: Data Input and Removal to the feedback
folder this afternoon. Zoltan had added a section to this chapter that was
greatly needed. I have kept his thoughts and expanded upon them. This
chapter is now available for additional review having assigned the status of
"pending review."
Jean or someone: the Base3 feedback folder has quite a few files which
probably should be moved to the "Older files" folder. Many of these files
are earlier reviews or original files in which there are several newer
versions of them in the folder as well.

Anytime you are reviewing a chapter, you should always have
Changes enabled: Edit > Changes > Record. I usually also have enabled
Edit > Changes > Show. These two are very important. In fact, I think I
had these two set this way when I uploaded the file.
If it is a matter of changing a few words, do so right where they
are. The original text should remain but crossed out, and your added
text should appear underlined.
If it is a matter of changing a complete paragraph, delete the
paragraph which will cross out the paragraph. Write the new paragraph
below the paragraph it replaces.
You can also write a note Insert > Comment. With this you can call
my attention to something you have noticed.
When you are finished with the chapter, you need to rename the
file before uploading it to the Base3 Feedback folder like this:
Introducing Base_DEL_RZ_20100326.odt. "Introducing Base" is the name of
the chapter, _DL_RZ_ shows who has worked on the chapter (_DL_RZ_KB_),
20100326 is the date it was uploaded on March 26 (YYYYMMDD).
If there is something that you want to call to my attention that
you are not sure about, email the list and Ping me as you did with this.
