I have uploaded revised book and chapter templates for the user guides
to the Contributor Resources folder,
http://www.oooauthors.org/english/userguide3/res3/

The latest version of the templates (16 July 2010) has new branding on
the cover pages and a pseudo-watermark (Free eBook Edition) in the
footer of the book template.

Previous revisions this year had the corrected email address for the
authors mailing list on the copyright page, some minor tweaks in the
styles, plus corrections to the descriptions for page styles, addition
of description for new styles, and some other style changes to make a
chapter file behave itself when part of a master document. Since 03
January 2010, the template uses DejaVu fonts instead of Bitstream Vera
fonts.

These new templates have been applied to the Draw Guide. As we revise
chapters in other books, we will apply the new chapter template to them.

Please download the templates and put them in the user templates folder
on your computer. (See Chapter 3 of the Getting Started guide if you
need help to do this.) The next time you open a chapter based on the
chapter template, it should ask if you want to update the styles; choose
YES. The cover art, however, will not update automatically; you will
need to do that manually.

BTW, Clayton Cornell and I are working on further changes to
documentation templates, to be introduced later in the year.
