Hello,

My name is Alex Dunne from Montreal, Quebec, Canada. I signed up
because I am looking to gain experience in technical writing and
editing. This project sounds great because I use Writer and Calc
daily, which makes me genuinely excited about being able to document
OpenOffice.

As for my credentials, I have a Bachelors degree in Software
Engineering. I also have a continuing education certificate in
magazine/news/media writing and copy editing. I write and speak French
fairly well, and am proficient in Spanish. Unfortunately, my grasp of
either of these languages is only strong enough to translate into
English, and find glaring errors. For fun, I write short stories and
micro fiction.

I'm unsure where my talents are best suited to help yet. Any
recommendations? If not, I'll scan the task-lists for something that
interests me and that I think I'll be good at.

Look forward to working with all of you.

Regards,

Alex Dunne
