Has everyone agreed that the proper home for this is in the chapter
template? If so, do you want to put it there, or should I?

V3.3 chapter template is indeed a good place for the Bandit macro.
Please put it there when you are done working on it. The template on the
website is the latest iteration; I haven't had time to make further
tweaks as Michele suggested last week. I will do that later, after you
have added the macro.

Thanks! --Jean

The updated V3.3 chapter template is in the feedback folder for Contributor Resources. The template now contains library "Standard", with module "BandIt". Any new documents produced with the template will have these also; however, old documents which are updated, either by auto-update or the Template Changer, will /not/ contain the macros.

The only problem comes in what you have to do to run the macro, on a document that doesn't contain it. I have a lot of macros which I use occasionally, so I run into this frequently. My solution is to keep a document named "Macro Dummy", which has a whole lot of modules in it. I open Macro Dummy, find the macro I want, then open (or bring to the front) the target document, then bring forward the IDE, and run.

Anyway, there are lots of ways to run macros, and distribute macros. Let me know if you have a problem.

Michele and Andrew P. are welcome to make any changes / comments they wish.

I also changed the style OOoTableHeader so that it doesn't set any background color (now has "No fill"). The BandIt macro sets the header background (and the border lines) to a beautiful medium blue that MZ put in his code. If you want the header to be Gray10%, it's only a one-line change in BandIt.
