OK on the responses.
I did notice one major difference between the m101 uninstaller and all
the uninstallers on previous snapshot versions: The m101 version
includes a dialog box after the uninstallation, notifying that the
computer needs to be rebooted. The previous uninstallers did not display
that dialog box--so I did not reboot after those other uninstallations.
I have yet to try again with m101--after rebooting.
