I did not want you to think I blew off you request for an example the
other day - I pulled out some stuff I thought would work (hadn't really
looked at base for a while) and to be honest ran into some problems with
it under LibreOffice. Am waiting on a new build to try again...

I understand. I have come to the personal conclusion that SQL is somewhat
advanced for the Base Guide at this point in time. It seems to me that it would
require using the SQL Statement dialog (Tools> SQL). Maybe I shy away from
this because my typing is not as accurate as I would like. As a result, using this
dialog results in far too many errors with no idea as to why. (There is not the
feedback as there is with the Table Design and Query Design dialogs.)
I'm also wondering about the amount of writing required to explain this
topic. Seems like it will not be easy to explain to the average person. If so,
does this mean it might be better for this to be a tutorial or appendix?
