Ok, if it is not in the DE Guide then I feel better. And you confirm that
the procedure as described does not make sense in the context of how the
Select button functions. Thanks a lot.

Oh and by the way, hello, nice to hear from you again after a long time. I
have not been too active in recent times but am trying to complete a
review and update to DG3.4.  Is there a similar operation going on in the
DE group? If so, I would try to publish the list of changes I find - only
a small number as I understand - for reference by others.
