Thanks Gary, Jean, and Sigrid.  I have my login and was able to log in to
the site.

Jean, to answer your questions, no I have never used OpenOffice before.  I
have MS experience, primarily with Word and Excel, and with Access database
to a lesser extent.  For now I'll just stick with contributing to
OpenOffice.org, rather than LibreOffice.

I will do my homework and read the information in the 4 bullets under
"Getting Started with ODFAuthors."  I am mostly interested in editing, so
perhaps that's a good place to start.  I will do a lot of reading before
attempting to review any of the Draw Guide chapters.
