As I got no response to this I have started on this document. I am doing at the same time as I update the Migration Guide for version 2 (which I am running behind schedule on - it won't be finished today).
I've got a chapter listed for it in the Getting Started Guide, but no one to write it. Glad you're doing so, Ian!
No problem about the delay in the Migration Guide -- I've been too busy to deal with it. But I'll happily do so whenever you have it ready!
