Yes in the General Use Differences chapter of the Migration Guide.
There is also a section In Spreadsheet differences for using AutoFilter.

Copied from Use Differences chapter:

Regular expressions

“Regular expressions” are significantly different in OpenOffice.org from
Microsoft Office's “Use wildcards”. See Help > Index tab > type in
“regular expressions”. Some common examples are in Table 1. To use
regular expressions, make sure the Regular expressions checkbox is
checked. On reopening the Find / Replace dialog the Regular Expressions
checkbox is always unchecked.

That is good, but I think that perhaps one of the main chapters should focus on this, as it seems to be a common topic for users besides those migrating. Maybe in common features?

I don't know.

Thoughts?

I documented them in my book on Macro programming (Table 16 page 301), so obviously I thought that they were worth documenting.... :-)
I pulled the information directly from the help pages.
