Uh, hi guys....

I wrote a FAQ a while ago (http://www.oooauthors.org/FAQs/Writer/faqwriternumbering/20041002a), and I
was wondering if I needed to do anything to get it published to documentation.openoffice.org.... That is its ultimate destination, right, I
think, ummmm???

You do not have to do anything to get your faq published, if you have published it on the Authors site. Unfortunately for OOo's users and the author community, the FAQ transfer is not well organized and there is very little manpower behind it, so the process will take time. Your FAQ falls in line with the hundreds that have been written by others and are still waiting to move to the OOo site. I think to help compensate for this lack of efficiency, I may try to find a better way to link the OOoAuthors pages to the FAQ pages at the documentation project pages, to help your hard work get more recognition and use by the OOo user community. I hope this helps...
