I like the OOoAuthors template very much, two things though:

Would it be possible to remove the underlining in the table
of contents? I do realize that it is hyperlinked, but the
underlines are really distracting when printed out. For
reading online as a PDF, there are bookmarks generated
anyway, so even if this sould make the links less obvious,
the native navigational features in Adobe Reader can be
used anyway.

Another thing is kerning: Right now the styles have kerning
switched off, making printouts look worse (though only a bit)
than they have to. Kerning is spacing specific, problematic
letter combinations (like LT) that overlap or look too far
away from each other in a way that the font designer can
set. Basically you want it always turned on, except maybe
for very small sizes (below 7pt or so).

There is an issue about turning kerning on by default in OOo
Writer, sadly this has not happened yet:

One word of caution, though: Kerning might lead to reflowing
text, changed pagination etc., so this should be done with
some care.
