The purpose of the TitlePage section was so the title page would not disappear when we hide the FrontMatter section.

That's not legally necessary, but I guess it doesn't hurt. (Debian legal says you can either say "copyright" or use the symbol).

I don't think those things are necessary. I've seen a lot of documentation that doesn't have it. I guess they're not wrong though...
I think it would be nice to include somewhere, perhaps in the document description, what version the doc was last checked against. Some of the docs may lie dormant after 2.0 comes out so people want to know, if 2.2 is the latest build, that the doc only assumes 2.0. Publication date may not be important, I think the build is.
