Later today I'll try to see how I can let you assign the author role
yourself. So you can do it if you ever feel it's important.
Thank You ! That will be the perfect way!
Thank you for reminding me :-)
You're welcome!
Done. Now you have the "local roles" of Author, Owner and Manager. This also
means that you can assign the same roles to other people. You do it the same way
that you assigned the "Owner" role before.
Now, let me explain a few things:
1) Right now, you shouldn't need to give special roles to anyone. I setup the
folder so that everyone can contribute. You don't need to give people the Owner
or Author roles (unless I made a mistake).
2) If that's not what you want (if you want more control) we can change this.
3) Very important: I also gave you the Manager role for the Germaphone folder.
I should have done this before. I didn't think of it. The "Manager" role is the
administrator. You can access the Zope Management Interface (ZMI) for the German
folder. Go to this page:
http://oooauthors.org/de/manage_main
The ZMI is the administration interface for Plone. Here you can change everything
about the Germaphone folder.
For example, suppose you have a bad experience, and you decide you don't want
just anyone to change the website. You want to control who can add/delete/move
files. This is what you do:
1. Go to the ZMI: http://oooauthors.org/de/manage_main
2. At the top, click on the "Security" tab.
3. Now you see a list of permissions going down. And you see columns for the
roles. You see these roles:
Member == Anyone who has an account.
Author == People who you gave the Author role to.
You see that a number of check marks are on the "Member" colum. Uncheck all of
those, and put the checkmark in the "Author" column instead.
4. Scroll to the bottom and click on "Save Changes".
Finished!
Now only an "Author" can change the /de/ folder. So now you can choose who can
modify the /de/ folder.
Cheers,
Thank you for the trust an the little readme! We will discuss the future
way of managing

I will inform you as soon as possible!
