Drat! That's a good point. I'm chagrined that I didn't know (or remember) that, since I'm concerned about accessibility issues.

Does JAWS know the difference between "radio buttons" and other buttons? That is, would the phrase "select the xxx button in the yyy group" (or some variation) work? I really dislike "radio button" for the majority of users.

Pardon my ignorance, what is JAWS? And why should 'it' worry about what such and such is called?

I like the term 'select'. Maybe one might even say"select xxx in the yyy group(ing)"
I never did understand the term 'radio' for a round button that means one only, and 'box' for a square button that means none or any or all.
However, there should remain a distinction of if only one is allowed or many allowed and even if none or one is required. There use to be a standard for that but I donot remember what is was.
