Hi Alan, I have tried to personally gain access to the material, but they have been rather snotty about giving copies to anyone other than official training and testing centres.
I spoke with the developer of their Base module yesterday (Wednesday) and she has given me a contact name and telephone number for someone at the ICDL foundation. I will try to call her tomorrow and find out what is happening about the course material in Europe and elsewhere. Regards Craig A.
