One other question do I have: Have you looked at the "Getting
started"-Guide for Impress or the Impress-Guide? And have you
compared these documents with your document?

I know both documents. The Quickstart is very short and also the GettingStarted imho not the same information. In ESImpress there are some examples inside, so that the user beginns to work a little bit himself.

You are quite right, the existing Impress chapters for V2 (in the Getting Started book and the first chapter of the Impress Guide) are very short and don't have much detail, because they cover mainly using the wizard for a quick and easy presentation.

The Impress Guide for V1 was all one document, which is being divided into several chapters for V2 and I believe will be expanded to have more information than was in V1. I assume it will go into some detail about working with presentations outside the functions of the wizard. So that information will be there later, but unfortunately that is not much help to you right now.

Linda Worthington should be able to tell you more about her plans for the Impress Guide.

Cheers, Jean
