Hi Perry...

Do you need any help with the wiring? I am a pretty good electrician,
but I am an excellent plumber and carpenter. Of, course I'll need a lift
from California if you want my assistance. ;-)

I am using Win 2k for my doc writing, it is much more stable and less of
a resource hog than XP. The betas will install fine, and they are
generally stable. I do seem to have a transient crash happening when I
leave my PC with OOo 1.9.104 running. Unfortunately I am never around to
see it happen. But this has not been a "show-stopper" bug.

We are writing our docs for version 2, and the betas are all we have to
work with. At this point there should be very few changes that affect
the User Guide, just things like fixing the broken macro recorder (and
the like).

Build 1.9.104 was released a few days ago and may be updated at any
time. They say on the website every two weeks, but the releases have
been sooner then that.

I have a graduate degree in MIS, which makes me a systems analyst, and
in turn makes me the wrong person to test software. You are right
newbies do come up with the best test cases...
