Hi Ian,
You're getting these by email because I keep getting errors trying to
upload them to the site. See below. Maybe I'm doing something wrong?
In the Migration Guides I have edited you'll see--
1) You'll need to go through them and decide what to do about stuff I
have thought is worth moving elsewhere. There are also a small number
of requests for more information.
2) In most documents you'll need to regenerate the contents.
3) A lot of my suggestions are made to help translators do their work.
I found a lot of tense shifts. I have tried to make the language
imperative and in the present tense.
4) I had some trouble understanding how authors were using bullets and
numbered subparagraphs, but I think it is largely Ok now I'm used to
the style.
5) There are some fixes for language that non-Americans might find
challenging.
6) Some tables need checking for punctuation issues when I understand
what Jean wants.
7) There seems to be too much emphasis on Word, especially for people
who are not migrating from Word, so I have edited it down a little.
I would like to go through them all again when you're done - and
before publishing - so that I can do a final polish and fit-together.
Sorry about this means of getting the files back, but Jean asked my to
be finished by tomorrow.
Regards
Lin
Lin I loaded all of your files under the Migration Guide > Feedback
folder. I checked your privs and I don't see anything wrong there.
Make sure that when you load a file go to Add New Item > File and not OO
Document. If you still have problems let us know.
Thanks
Linda
