This should be the last update or so. At this point I think I've gotten
everything right:

* Per Nicu's tip, the image is now indexed with no diethering (whatever
that is). The result looks really good. The shadow looks good as do the
letters. And the file is even smaller. This one is 16kb. Now it should be
quite good for dialup users.
* Set the bottom links to sans.
* "Fixed" the Japanese link. I have no idea how though. The old one should
have worked. All I did was interchange the ja and fr maps.

* I made the <hr> a little less wide, since the sans font is less wide.
That should do it.

Using dial-up and IE6:
The versions at "front4", "front5", and "front7" all look good (almost
identical, but a slight difference in size), and all load fast enough. And
(surprise!?), all the foreign fonts are now there! I have done nothing to
my browser, but the "little boxes" and/or question marks that did not
resolve to anything (on earlier versions) have all disappeared. ALL of the
fonts are now displaying.
