Of course, the link to the chapter was at the Doc Project site,
which isn't quite the same as linking to OOoAuthors, so I'm

Someone pointed me to an exchange on the Australian Technical
Writers' List last Monday, 4 July, started by someone asking
about OOo. Among the responses was this comment, not by me:
... read the information about Styles before you
start seriously working with it. Trust me, it will
help to have an idea of how they work. It's similar
to Word in some senses, but not particularly
'intuitive' coming from a Word mindset.
