I'm confused.
Is this intended to replace the "Impress Quickstart" that's been
migrated and published already? I thought that was the first chapter
of the Impress Guide. It's certainly not the entire book called
"Quickstart" from V1.

BTW, I've put that existing chapter into the Getting Started Guide
(as "Getting Started with Impress"), so making a different chapter
for the Impress Guide is fine with me... if that seems the best way
to go.

This is the original V1 complete guide Tim did. I know there will be
some changes to each chapter but we decided a while back to break
them out then see what we need to combine, rewrite or do away with.

The chapter I'm talking about (in the V2 Impress "published" folder)
is only 12 pages long, so it is obviously only a small part of the
complete guide, even though the title of this 12-page chapter for V2
is the same as the title of the complete guide written for V1.
The V2 chapter has a publication date of 11 April 2005 and has your
name listed as maintainer. My question was whether the chapter you
mentioned at the beginning of this thread (as ready to be migrated) is
going to replace that chapter which you did months ago for V2.

No the V2 was a quickstart guide. Maybe we need to change the name?

I misunderstood what that document was about when I first
published it. At the time I thought it was Chapter 1 of the full
Impress Guide. No wonder I was confused. Thanks for sorting me
out on this. :-)
Some time ago I made it a chapter of the Getting Started guide,
so it was actually in two places. Should we now just remove it
from the Impress Guide? That sounds to me like the best solution.
