We definitely need people to work on the database guide, both writing and reviewing (when some stuff is written). Some people had started working on it quite awhile ago, but bugs in the program prevented them from getting very far. I haven't been keeping up with the state of the database component of OOoV2, so I don't know how much can now be written about... most of it, I hope!
Dan Lewis wrote a great chapter for the Getting Started Guide. Dan, are you around? Do you know what's happening with the Database Guide itself?
I'll try to track down the other people who had been working on this guide and see what's happening. Garry, are you there? Who else was working on it?
Meanwhile, reviewing chapters in other guides is a great way to get your feet wet.
