Hi Jean
Could I have some feedback please?
I selected the file from the review list, dl the file and reviewed it...
I saved it (with I hope the right name convention) and then uploaded
it to the
same folder again, changed the status now so that it shows as
pending. But in
the Contents display I see that there are in fact two documents, one
that is
shown as visible (yours of 15Jul) and mine of 24Jul which shows up
as pending. So I made a mistake of not giving it exactly the same
description as before?
Reviewed files should go in the Feedback folder for the relevant book,
not in the main folder. We do not want reviewers to overwrite the
original document, so the fact that you gave it a different name is good.
Lots of people put their first reviewed file in the wrong folder, so I
suspect I need to look at improving the instructions again.
I just changed the description of the Feedback folder for the Writer
Guide to say:
"When you have reviewed a chapter, upload your edited file HERE. Do not
overwrite the original file that you reviewed."
It didn't have a description previously, so it was easy to overlook it
when viewing the Writer Guide folder. Perhaps we could make that change
on all the Feedback folders?
