You are right!
If I add a new content type I will do this at first at our test-site to
'play with'.
Only if the test gets no trouble and the batch to push the documents to
the site works, we will add this content-type to the real site :-)

One of these days we should try to "clean up" any content types that
don't work or we're not using (e.g. OODocument). It's just that there
are always so many other things to do that are higher priority, we never
seem to get around this one. On the other hand, that's a "good" problem
because it means we're busy :-)
