I think several people in the group are qualified, but so far no
one has offered to take over a book.

Everyone who answered my call for editors (on other mailing
lists) has either joined the group or is not available because
their work circumstances changed. I'm out of ideas on where to
find someone else, but people keep joining us all the time, so
I'm sure we'll get lucky one of these days.

The biggie at the moment is "Working with Styles in Writer",
which you are reviewing. I hope, with your help, to be able to
get that to a publishable state when I get back in late August.
Or if you want to, you're most welcome to finish it yourself (or
talk someone else into finishing it) and get Janet to publish it
in my absence. That would be a very pleasant surprise for me when
I get back. :-)

Other than that, since you are writing "Working with Graphics in
Writer", I suspect you've got more than enough work to do over
the next month or so.

I think it would be best for some of the newcomers to take over
the other chapters on my list after they've become comfortable
reviewing -- or any of the other "old hands" when they have some
time.

All the other chapters on my list, except one, have been
published (or will be very soon), but they will need occasional
updating. I will put the list in another note, with a different
subject line.

Cheers, Jean
